The global platform advancing women in padel
The Women's Padel Association builds the events, communities and pathways where women enter, compete and lead in padel. Home of the first all-women FIP Silver in history: Manila, March 2026.
Who we are
Padel is expanding across five continents, and its culture is being written right now. WPA puts women at the center of that story: as athletes, leaders, creators and commercial partners shaping where the sport goes next.
We create women-centered professional and amateur events with our partners, grow Community Chapters with host clubs across the region, develop coaches and industry professionals, and connect brands to women's padel through serious, measurable partnerships.
Official competition is sanctioned by the International Padel Federation across its tours, including the CUPRA FIP Tour, FIP Promises and FIP Beyond. WPA's professional events are created within that structure, with FIP, national governing bodies and promoters.
Alongside the official calendar, WPA stages its own world of play: amateur competition, Community Chapter leagues and destination experiences open to every level.
Professional players are represented by the International Padel Players Association, our International Player Partner; WPA builds the events, visibility and pathways around them. Everyone plays their position. Ours is the platform.
History made
On 13 to 15 March 2026, the FIP Silver Women's Padel Manila brought a women-only professional tournament to the CUPRA FIP Tour for the first time at Silver level, with 32 pairs in the main draw at Manila Padel Club, led by champions Lucía Sainz and Virginia Riera.

Founder
"This is about creating a future where women are given the platform, visibility, and professional pathways they deserve."
WPA grew out of Alenna Dawn's work building padel in the Philippines and across Asia: founding the Philippine Padel Association, creating women-focused community programming, and developing the events business behind a historic women's professional tournament.
The idea is simple: build the stages, the communities and the commercial platform for women's padel now, while the sport's story is still being written. That is what WPA does, in every market it enters.
Standards
Everything WPA puts its name to is run with the discipline of the institutions we work with: clear standards, clear rights and reporting our partners can rely on.
Every historical, audience and impact claim we publish carries a source and a date.
Safeguarding standards, welfare provisions and a reporting process are conditions of every WPA-branded event.
Published partner designations match signed agreements. Global and event-level rights are kept distinct.
Independent oversight and an annual impact report, beginning in 2027.
What's ahead
A flagship destination platform combining professional competition, amateur challengers, clinics, a leadership forum and community legacy programs.
Women-only sanctioned tournaments delivered with federations and promoters, building on the Manila debut.
Local WPA communities brought to life with our host clubs: monthly socials, leagues and first-time programs for women.
